The Challenge

EVgo came to Artium looking for help with two key goals - the first was to build a cutting edge, best-in-class mobile experience for the hundreds of thousands of users that use their EV chargers every week.

Their second goal was to help them build a new mobile development team that could continue to own and iterate on both the native iOS and Android mobile apps we would build together.

The Solution

This was a full stack, balanced team engagement for Artium - meaning that we had a senior UI / UX designer and a senior product manager from Artium helping EVgo to refine and define exactly what the mobile experience should include and how it should look as well as Artium engineers work on both the front and back end to build the apps.

At the same time, we also headhunted and interviewed top tier Android and iOS developers to join the EVgo team and once they joined we helped them ramp up and adopt best practices like Test Driven Development and CI / CD right from day one.
